Strawberry Jam

Sunflower Market had their strawberries on super sale for $ .88 cents last week. So I bought some. Apparently, more than I expected. I have made three batches of jam, and it looks like there is enough for another whole batch. But it is delicious. I went to Sunflower yesterday, and the same size basket of strawberries at $3.99. Wow. I got a great deal and great jam. I am loving my morning toast!

Cinnamon Twists

I actually made these last week, I am just a week behind - again. Oops. I made them with Rhoades bread and they were delicious!!! These are on the list of "keeper" recipes. They were cinnamon twists with almonds, and a maple glaze. MMMM.... I want some more!

March Something

I don't have any cool pictures to post this week, I haven't made any fun desserts, or done anything fun. So, my post for this week will be the top 5 and bottom 5 events of my week.

Bottom 5 -
1. It snowed on Monday. I am ready for the snow to be done, and it made an inside recess day. I hate inside recesses.
2. The time change that is coming has put a damper on things.
3. I am getting back into my running, after 4 months of nothingness. As a result, I had sore muscles, and I hate sore muscles.
4. I had a stack of papers to grade. That is one downfall of my job - grading papers.
5. I had to work a full 5 day week. (We have a day off next week, so that is one good thing going for next week.)

Top 5 -
1. My mother in law bought red velvet cupcakes from Costco - they were delicious, especially the cream on top!
2. The sun has been out, and things are getting warmer.
3. BYU has had a good win week (not including the championship game which is on right now.)
4. I didn't have to scrape my windows before going to work 4 of the 5 days.
5. I was able to talk with my family on the phone - always love that!

So, there is my week. Pretty exciting huh?

FAN POSTERS

The newspaper that we get has been including these fun action shots of BYU basketball players. The team was doing great until this week. Anyway, the pictures come in a period of 3 days papers. I have these hanging up on my windows at school, as well as the previously picture of Jimmer on my door. The pictures continue. I have at least one more to hang up with my collection. My kids are loving the posters. It is a fun addition to my classroom. Go Cougs!
